The 2021 AdMonsters Publisher Forum (August 22-25) was held in Vail, Colorado, and attracted talent from across the publishing industry. Our Head of Enterprise Partnerships, Paul Cassar, hosted a fireside chat with Curtis Evans, Director of Ad Operations at Edison Interactive. The topic was Future-Proofing your Future With Self-Serve.

We asked Paul for his key takeaways from a busy and stimulating few days in the Colorado mountains.

“I think for everyone there it felt great to be back at live conferences again and interacting in real life. At the same time, it was a quite intimate event with a smaller turnout than previous years because of the pandemic. That allowed for a lot of one-on-one discussions.

As expected, first-party data privacy was top of mind and was part of every conversation in one way or another.

In a show of hands the audience were unanimous in their relief that Google had delayed the phase out of third-party cookies. We all need more time to figure this out!”.
