Let us introduce Nina Nilsson, based in our HQ office in Stockholm.
Hi Nina! What do you do at DanAds?
My job is to set up the best go-to-market strategy together with each of our publishers as well as the continued growth strategies to drive as much revenue through their platforms as possible. And we do this by gathering insights and best practices from the market to best help our customers.
What were you doing before you joined us?
Previously I came from a company called Profoto where I was almost 10 years in various positions: from commercial to operations, including management of the company’s international expansion into USA and China, running global implementation of a new ERP-system and external/outsourced partner management. In short: I’m a fixer.
What are you most excited about working on?
I’m most excited about being part of driving the expansion into Asia/APAC area which so far has been a bit of untapped territory for DanAds. The publishers there might be working slightly differently but they still face the same issues with increasing revenue and competing with social media and Google.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I’m a very social creature so I enjoy anything social from dinner parties and quiz nights, game nights or simply a long walk with a good friend. I also have an obsession with movies and tv-shows and have more subscriptions to different streaming sites than any one person probably should.
What’s something not many people know about you?
I really love karaoke, the singing and dancing and completely letting loose, I can’t really sing but that’s never stopped me. But now that I think about it this might not be something that is not very well-know about as it doesn’t take long before I burst out my eternal love for it
