Today we’re introducing Meghan Green, Account Manager, based in New York.
Hey Meghan! Could you tell us a little bit about your role at DanAds?
My role at DanAds is all about making sure our clients succeed. Once their platform is up and running, we are their main point of contact. We help them with everything from putting together their go-to-market strategy to coming up with new features and customizations for their platform, pretty much anything that involves growing and driving revenue through their platform. As their partner and biggest advocate, we make sure that they’re using their platform to its greatest potential.
What did you do before you started this position?
I worked on the Zeus Prime team at the Washington Post where we were building a self-service multi-publisher ad buying platform. I actually worked closely with the DanAds team in my old role, which has made the transition to my new role somewhat seamless. It’s exciting to now be on the other side of things!

Where are you from?
I grew up just outside of Washington, DC in Northern Virginia (NOVA as we call it 😊).
What’s your favourite music?
If you were to look at my Spotify, it’s kind of all over the place. If I had to pick a favorite genre though, I’d probably say electronic/dance. I LOVE live music and will never pass up an opportunity to see a concert or show.
What’s your favourite way to unwind?
I love a good workout class, a long walk with a podcast, or simply just relaxing on the couch binging a show.
What inspired you to pursue a career in the field?
My background is a little unique compared to most in this industry because I actually spent the first 5 years of my career in Accounting. I craved a role where I could have a direct impact on the growth and success of a company, which is what inspired me to pursue a career change. I was able to spin my experience to join the client services team at The Washington Post, and later the team that led the Post’s self-service advertising initiative. My role at DanAds is the perfect blend of my product and client service experience, which is what made the role so appealing to me.
What’s the best thing about being part of the DanAds team?
It’s been amazing to meet and work alongside so many kind, motivated, and talented individuals from all over the world. I’m excited to be a part of a team who I believe is truly at the forefront of changing the industry, all while making sure our clients succeed. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
