How did you end up working at DanAds?
About 2+ years ago while working for my previous company I had a meeting with Johan Liljelund and Peo Persson to discuss a partnership. We ended up not doing the deal but I walked away incredibly impressed with the platform and the problem it was solving for the industry. In the time since I have followed DanAds’ success and have spoken with publishers who are incredibly excited about what DanAds is doing in the marketplace. I also have had the opportunity to meet and become familiar with more of the team through industry events. When the situation presented itself to work with DanAds I jumped at the chance. The old saying of “When you are offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask what seat. Just get on!” definitely applies here. This is an impressive team up and down the board and I am privileged to be a part of it to complement and further the continued success in the US & LATAM.
Before DanAds I had been working with a High Impact Creative Production Platform that allowed publishers to easily create rich media ads while reducing the time it took to create those ads. I was responsible for all company revenue as well as overseeing marketing and customer success. We were working with some of the top publishers in the industry such as CBSi, Verizon Media, Penske, PGA Tour, and Zillow to name some of them.
What are you most excited about working on?
Publishers have long struggled with increasing revenue and competing with Google and Facebook, especially for SMB dollars. DanAds levels the playing field some and allows for SMBs to have access to high-quality inventory from incredible brands like Hearst Magazines, Trip Advisor, Bloomberg, Washington Post, and others. I am excited to bring that solution to more and more publishers and to assist our current clients in tapping into a revenue stream they did not have a bridge to previously.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
You can usually find me at the beach in the summer or exploring the city and trying new restaurants in the endless and amazing choices in NYC.
