DanAds partnership with Klarna opens up e-commerce for automatic advertising

The Swedish adtech company DanAds has entered into a partnership with Klarna, one of Europe’s leading payment providers. The partnership involves launching an ad platform that helps e-commerce with online marketing and advertising purchases in a smarter and more cost-effective way.

DanAds has built an ad platform to help e-commerce’s with their online marketing, ad purchases, and drive visitors in a smarter and more cost-effective way. Through the partnership with Klarna, the platform is initially offered to over 1,500 new e-commerce’s.

The ad platform is based on self-learning technology, whose purpose is to help e-commerce’s to expose its online store to the right audience and at the right time – without ever having to compete for keywords or adjust their campaigns. Inside the platform, there are the best advertising opportunities for increasing visitor traffic, finding new customers, and re-activating previous visitors. Thanks to top-performing algorithms, the ad platform works like an “Autopilot” that automatically improves the placements and does all optimization work for the e-retailer.

The ad platform is linked to Google Ad Manager (GDN, Search and Shopping).

“We have had a dialogue with Klarna over the past year to create an understanding of how we can facilitate the everyday life of their e-commerce customers. We are now launching an ad platform based on both our own and others’ self-service technology, “says Peo Persson, co-founder and CPO at DanAds.

“Klarna is constantly working to help e-commerce’s to increase growth and profitability. With the new advertising platform, we want to create yet another value package for our merchants and simplify the work to drive qualitative traffic to the webshop in a smart and cost-effective way, “says Jeanette Anttila, Nordic Business Area Manager at Klarna.

The ad platform is being launched in collaboration with Klarnas so-called Native Partners, which refers to the e-commerce providers where Klarna Checkout is an integral part of the platform. First out, Wikinggruppen, who has over 1,500 connected e-commerce webshops.

“Our e-commerce’s will be given the opportunity to log in and purchase retargeting, programmatic and traditional ad campaigns through their existing control panel. It’s an advertising booking system where our e-merchants can book, buy and tailor their ads 24/7”, says Jonte Bergman, CEO of Wikinggruppen.

DanAds and Klarna are planning to make the marketplace available for more e-commerce’s and partners in Sweden, to other Nordic countries and further internationally.
