Today, we’re introducing Ray Adamson, our Head of Solutions Sales, based in New York.
Hey Ray, could you tell us a little bit about your role at DanAds?
What truly defines DanAds is our commitment to creative problem-solving within the media ecosystem. My role is to lead the identification of operational friction points where innovation can yield the highest ROI.
Whether I am architecting a bespoke Revenue Orchestration Engine to replace legacy OMS limitations, engineering the automation of high-touch manual tasks, or strategically deploying AI agents to augment internal teams, my objective remains the same: to deliver the ‘connective tissue’ that streamlines workflows and maximizes operational velocity for our partners.
What did you do before you started this position?
Prior to DanAds, I ran sales at FatTail which provided Order Management Systems for media publishers. It was a similar role to the one I have at DanAds, but the suite of products and offerings was much smaller. It was a continuation of helping media companies streamline their operations.
What inspired you to pursue a career in adtech?
My journey in AdTech began in 2009 while working for a Business Process Outsourcing firm. Early on, I recognized that the advertising space’s rapid evolution presented a massive opportunity for specialized operational support. I successfully lobbied our leadership to pivot our focus toward media, which allowed us to scale from working with niche AdTech startups to supporting global publishers, agencies, and major brands. Sixteen years later, the constant innovation of this industry still keeps me fully engaged. I’ve never looked back.
What’s the best thing about being part of the DanAds team?
I love working at DanAds because leadership prioritizes surrounding themselves with experts and then giving them the floor to lead. There’s no micromanagement here – just a shared trust that we’re all here to win. We’ve managed to keep that ‘day one’ nimble energy, which allows us to pivot quickly and solve the industry’s biggest problems while others are still in committee meetings. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that actually wants to make the industry stronger.
