Meet our Project Manager – Oscar Nilsson

Meet Oscar Nilsson, our dedicated Product Manager at DanAds, who brings a wealth of experience in full-stack development and project management. He’s passionate about the impact of our platform in the AdTech space and values the collaborative, transparent team culture that drives success here.

Questions: 

  • Could you tell us a little bit about your role at DanAds?
    I work as a product manager. This makes me responsible for coordinating the work of implementing and governing our platform for various customers. The work is varied in its nature and encompasses, but is not limited to organizing the work done in our development teams, communicating with our customers and other stakeholders, making sure the project is delivered on time and on budget. 

  • What did you do before you started this position?
    Previously I have worked as a fullstack developer consultant targeted towards integrations as well as implementation at various positions and clients. I also have a background as a project manager and technical implementation consultant at a SaaS company.

 

  • What inspired you to pursue a career in adtech?
    First and foremost the platform itself. It fills a space within the industry that is really interesting and useful for a lot of companies. The list of current clients was also something that really drew me in.

 


  • What’s the best thing about being part of the DanAds team?
    The best thing about the team has to be the willingness to help each other out. Nobody is afraid to drop what they are currently working on in order to help a colleague out. The transparency regarding information sharing is also really good.

  1. Where are you from?
    I come from a small village called Genarp, located right outside of Lund in Skåne.

  2. What’s your favourite music?
    Eurodisco. Believe me, it is  lovely music.

  3. What’s your favourite way to unwind?
    I usually unwind by running or biking

  4. What’s your favourite dessert?
    At my core, I am not really a dessert person, but if I had to make a choice, I would go for a chocolate cake.

  5. Where’s your next destination you’d like to visit?
    Japan if I had an unlimited budget and a lot of time!
