The collaboration will help fund long-term educational and personal development programs at Mduku High School, supporting underserved students through coaching, mentorship, and health education.
Stockholm, Sweden – July 8, 2025 – Star for Life is a social empowerment program for youth in South Africa that promotes students’ self-esteem and health by providing tools to help them make wise life decisions. Coaches from Star for Life work closely with learners to support their confidence, integrity, dreams, and long-term goals. Through a mix of workshops, exercises, and music, children and young people explore topics such as puberty, consent, sexual and reproductive health, relationships, hygiene, study discipline, empowerment, respect for others, creative expression, and entrepreneurship.
DanAds is a proud supporter of Mduku High School in Ngwenya, South Africa. Through this partnership with the Star for Life Foundation, the company is committed to fostering education and nurturing role models in underserved communities.
Star for Life currently works with over 90 schools in Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania), offering long-term support through a network of dedicated coaches. These coaches guide students in building self-esteem, setting personal goals, and navigating complex life topics. The program’s creative and participatory approach – combining music, dialogue, and mentorship – aims to create lasting, meaningful change.
Through its support of Mduku High School, DanAds is helping bring these life-changing tools to students and educators in a rural area where access to opportunity is often limited. The goal is to strengthen academic performance, encourage personal growth, and inspire future leaders.
“We are honored to support Star for Life and the transformative work they do every day,” said Istvan Beres, CEO and Co-founder of DanAds. “Their dedication to empowering youth through education and self-belief aligns deeply with our values. This partnership goes far beyond corporate social responsibility – it’s about helping build a future where young people, no matter where they’re from, have the confidence and tools to shape their own lives.”
Despite challenges – including leadership changes and the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on school attendance – Star for Life’s coaches, including Coach Nqobile and Executive Director for SFL Africa, Precious Dlamini, continue to work closely with Mduku educators and students. Their efforts have been met with enthusiasm and resilience, reinforcing the importance of long-term, consistent community engagement.
“Star for Life is creating meaningful change at the grassroots level,” added Beres. “We believe in their model and are proud to contribute to something that is genuinely transforming lives.”
